The money raised will be put towards the funding of a solar power generation system for Golden Bay High School (GBHS) with an anticipated cost of $60,000. Students attending GBHS are increasingly asking to play a part in responding to environmental, sustainability and climate initiatives. The installation of a solar power system will be one of several ways the school and its community can demonstrate a commitment to the preservation and protection of the environment.

About us

The purpose of Home and School is to raise funds to support the educational, cultural and sporting needs of Golden Bay High School students.

Use of funds

The funds raised will be spent on purchasing the necessary components for a photovoltaic (PV) system.
