Golden Girls Retirement Village - Geriatric dogs need your help!

Taranaki

Kate is a vet nurse in New Plymouth and she has made it her mission to care for geriatric dogs who have not had the best lives and that no body else will take on.

She wants to give them the best possible last chapter of their lives.

Kate has just taken on her third golden girl Jovi, however Tiny who Kate adopted in November 2017, the original Golden Girl, was only expected to live less that a year due to being diagnosed with Cushing Disease. Tiny is still living and thriving under Kate’s care more than a year and a half later.

The second golden girl Indy, who arrived 5 months ago has recently been diagnosed with Transitional Cell Carcinoma and is currently undergoing chemotherapy.

Kate hasn’t and wont ask for help, she does this because she wants to but her friends know she needs some support to continue this selfless journey.

ANY amount is greatly appreciated and will to ensure Kate can continue to do what she does.

Thank you for reading Kate and the Golden Girls Story.
