Mexico Earthquake Relief Fund

New Zealand is no stranger to earthquakes so let’s help Mexico to get back on their feet again.

Hawke's Bay

In September Mexico was badly shaken several times and those tremors still haven’t stopped, the recovery of people is still ongoing.

As time passes, we'll hear less and less about the Mexico earthquake but as we all know the hardest time is about to start with the rebuilding of the affected areas, thousands of people have lost everything and winter is coming up quickly, please help me to put funds together and I will make sure your help gets to the right hands

Maria Teresa Morales-Probert's involvement (page creator)

As an earthquake survivor from 1985 earthquake and now a Napier resident I live every day seeing the importance of rebuilding for a better future, I don't want to see funds being diluted on the way so I will make sure this doesn't happen with your support.

Use of funds

I'll be supporting construction projects especially with alternative materials which will help in building faster and more earthquake friendly homes. I will keep you all posted on the facebook page that has being set up for this project to show you all donations received and all progress achieved. The money received will be transferred directly to the group of Architects who are working in the reconstruction through bank transfer and I'm going to Mexico to see the progress June next year,
