"Kia ora, I’m Grace an 18 year old surfer from the Far North of New Zealand. I am so so excited to be selected for the New Zealand ISA Surf Team and I am extremely proud to be representing Aotearoa on the world stage.
This achievement has been one of my main goals for the last 2 years. I have been competing in northland and throughout New Zealand since I was 10 and have gone through all of the scholastic and grom series over the years. Last year I attended raglan surf academy for year 13, I had the coolest year ever growing my surfing and developing myself as an athlete. After finishing school I have decided to pursue my surfing and take it as far as I can. I have some amazing people in my corner and am committed to training in the ocean and on land to achieve my goals. Heading to Peru is a reflection of a lot of hard work over the years. It’s my first international surf competition and I’m so excited to be on the team, representing my country.
Peru is the next step in my surfing journey. Any financial support to help me on my way will be so greatly appreciated! :)
Arohanui Grace"
