We hope to one day become as loving and as caring as you are to everyone around you Grandma... You are such a strong, inspirational woman and leader. You have given us so much support, wisdom and guidance over the years and continue to do so despite any challenge thrown at you. We love you Grandma xx
So we haven't been able to update you all with a date till now because we've had to keep the fact we were flying up to see Grandma a surprise! But we are finally reunited and have set Monday night (20th) as a date for J and myself to shave our heads! Thank you again for all the lovely words and support from each and everyone, it truly blows us away xx
We are so grateful for all the support from everyone, the love and the caring gestures and words. It has definitely bought us to tears more than once and we are so excited to share all the love with Grandma.
She has just finished her second round of chemotherapy today and has beaten us to it, having gotten a number 4 haircut!
We can't confirm a date as to when Jay and myself will be joining her but we are hopeful it will be in the year 2021.
At this stage, we are also supporting Grandma from afar and trying to give her the space and privacy in these early days. We will be calling and getting a more detailed update in the next week and will share what we can with you all then.
Again, the love and compassion has been amazing and picked us up on rough days and made us smile on the good ones. Thank you all from the family xx
