Kia ora koutou, whānau, friends, and kind-hearted people.
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we reach out for your aroha, kindness, and support for our beloved Sister, & Mother Louise Hauraki , who is currently on life support in Perth, Western Australia.
Our whānau is facing one of the most heartbreaking moments of our lives. Her children and loved ones have been by her side, surrounding her with love as they face the devastating decision ahead regarding the withdrawal of life support.
No family is ever prepared for a moment like this. As we prepare for the possibility of saying goodbye, our hearts are breaking. Our wish is to bring our sister home to Aotearoa New Zealand, back to her people, where she can be laid to rest surrounded by the love of her whānau.
Sadly, bringing our sister home comes with significant and unexpected financial costs. We are seeking help toward funeral services (both in Aotearoa NZ and Australia), repatriation expenses to bring her home to Aotearoa NZ, and related tangihanga/funeral costs.

A Little Update About Our Beloved Louise Hauraki ❤️ 20 October 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we share that our beautiful sister, Louise Hauraki, has peacefully fallen into a long sleep. She is now resting, surrounded by our love and held close in our hearts.
Although my darling sister Louise has left us heartbroken, there is still much to arrange to bring her home to Aotearoa New Zealand and lay her to rest beside Our Father in Woodville.
We are continuing to ask for your kindness and support through Givealittle to help cover the costs of both funeral arrangements in Perth, Australia, and here in New Zealand, along with travel and other associated expenses.
