We need the community now more than ever to help maintain one of Hamilton’s most enduring Performing Arts societies.

Oh, MAMMA MIA! We’ve been going through a ROCKY patch following the closure of the Founders Theatre in 2016.
HAMILTON Operatic Society has been entertaining audiences since 1904. Over the last century, the society and its members have won multiple theatrical awards and produced countless world class productions. For many of our audience members, seeing a blockbuster such as THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, CATS, OLIVER, or MARY POPPINS in Hamilton is the only opportunity they will ever experience a Broadway or West End style production.
Hamilton Operatic has become a training ground for many vocalists who have gone on to success overseas such as Dame Malvina Major, Grammy winner Kimbra Johnson, superstar the late Rob Guest, and our Patron and creator of the ROCKY HORROR SHOW Richard O’Brien. More recently, our WICKED alumni includes Ruby Lyon who toured with the UK tour of LES MISERABLES; and Joel Benjamin Hewlett who has toured Australia and Asia with shows such as HAIRSPRAY, BOOK OF MORMON and ALADDIN.
Our best chance of STAYING ALIVE is to go THE FULL MONTY and ask for your SWEET CHARITY.
If you CAN CAN spare HALF A SIXPENCE, we would be very grateful.
Your generous donations will give us operational support and help us stay in ‘the black’ so we can continue to bring you fantastic musical theatre productions like Wicked, Jersey Boys, Matilda to name a few.
