Hannah in the Wars: help us shoot a music video for Dirty Light

Dirty Light will be the first single off our new album, and it is louder, weirder and more fun than anything we have made before. If you have seen us live over the past couple of years, this is one of those nasty new loud ones, a cacophony of drums, guitar and multiple feminine yelpings. Naturally we want the video to match.

We are shooting it on 16mm film, because Sarah Burton is directing it and she does not do things by halves. Sarah is an incredible photographer, published in The Guardian among many others, she has an uncanny eye for a strange, glowing kind of femininity, editorial and a little otherworldly. Her storyboard for this is astonishing. Multiple locations. A cast of 10 to 20 women. A river sequence at golden hour. Underwater shots. It is a lot. We love it.
