  • Gone far too soon.

It is with deep sadness, and broken hearts, that we mourn the sudden loss (after a long battle with her heart) of our gorgeous wife and sister Hannah Taylor (nee. Keatley) on 8th April 2024.

Hannah passed away very suddenly whilst enjoying a mini break with Nate in Hanmer Springs, a place Nate and Hannah cherished.

Hannah made a huge impact on everyone she met, She will be greatly missed by all.

All are welcome to a non-formal celebration of her life on Monday 15th April at 2pm, at Punky Brewster, 22B Tyne Street, Addington, Christchurch. Attire: Tidy/Casual but bright colours please.

Hannah wanted us to say goodbye by cherishing and remembering the good times we all had with her, so bring happy stories that you feel comfortable sharing.

To help with funeral costs, donations are welcome but not expected. We especially understand how much you all have supported Hannah in her mission to tick off some bucket list items. She was thankful for all of your support and managed to do a few small things.

A new Give a Little has been set up to pay out to Nate to cover all of the costs involved with these next few weeks as we tie up Hannah’s amazing life and memorialise her.

The remaining funds from this fundraiser will also be paid to Nate, so please know that your money will be going to great use. We can update the new fundraiser to explain how shortly.

Love, Nate (Husband) and Laura (Twin Sister).

Hay team. Thank you for your ongoing support. I have just send another 7 days in hospital and have had a PICC inserted to made it easier for me to receive my medications at home.

I still have great plans to try and do as much as I can before it becomes truly to difficult and with your continued donation I can continue to do this.

    Thank you again so much.

Hay team. Thank you for your ongoing donations. So far we have raised enough that I am able to book a trip to Sydney where I will be able to see where my partner grew up and do all the touristy things I'm very excited about this and it wouldn't have happened without all your generous donations. We are also able to do somethings around NZ as well and help relieve some financial stress.

Every little bit helps and adds to my family and I being able to do some bucket list things before I can't anymore.

Health wise I am doing okay. Am now under the palliative care umbrella however they will be in my life for hopefully a few years just helping to make my life easier in regards to pain, comfort and practicality. This will enable me to make the most of all the experiences I am able to have.

Thank you again for your ongoing support.

  • Update from creator of page

      8 January 2024

I’ve just updated the page description and fundraiser goal, we are now raising funds to allow Hannah to travel and do some bucket list items.

If you know anyone who could be in a position to donate, please share this page.

I would love to see my sister do some of the things she dreams of, before her heart fails her.

Some things she wants to do:

Travel to see family throughout NZ

Have an overseas holiday (to see Hanson perform on an island)

Have buffer in the household account to allow her partner, Nate to not be left with financial burden

Allow Nate to join Hannah on the activities

Help with convenience items as Hannah starts to get more house bound

    Pay off any utilities bills

So, please share, donate if you can, but even sharing helps Hannah. Please keep Hannah in your thoughts and let’s all hope Hannah can be with us for much longer than predicted. We appreciate all the support, love and kindness.

    Always,

    Laura (twin sister)

    Hay team.

Well unfortunately we have been given some devastating news. The transplant team have decided it is now to high risk to go ahead with a heart transplant, and there are no other options going forward. So for me it's just live life to the fullest till I cannot no more. So my give a little page has changed focus to being able to raise funds to be able to visit family and have some.experiences in life. I have not been given a time, it is all dependant on my body....my body is pretty tired. So hoping to see family around NZ and have some amazing experiences with my husband and your donations would help so much. Thank you for your support.

Hay team, things are a bit on stand still at the moment as I get some testing done for a growth they found on my adrenal gland. Testing has been done just waiting on results. So hoping to be back on the list next week.

Thanks again for all your support and love.

The donations have been instrumental as unexpected bills, more hospitql stays and financial pressures continue to be an unavoidable strain in amoungst all the other bombardment we have going on. So thank you from the upmost depth of my very fragile heart.

Hay team, another hospital admission for me,(Hannah) was hoping just a 24 hour stay, however looks like I'll be in over the weekend. My partner has to work, so at least this is routine to us now. This is where your donations go. They go to the unexpected, they go towards the I've got to much to juggle, I need to know we are covered. It helps ease the anxiety and helps us plan for every eventuality. Thank you. Please keep sharing the page. Your aroha is felt.

I posted my Diagnosis and procedures somI could be 100% transparent and also spread some Education.

    Hay team,

I headed up to Auckland this week to see the transplant team and after a few days of more tests and talking through the risk I am now on the active list waiting for a new heart.

Thank you all for your ongoing support. I know this is just the start of the journey and your help has made this chapter just a little easier.

Please keep sharing this page to your family, your networks, friends, workplaces and social media. Any help is greatly appreciated to help with the financial burden of a heart transplant.

  • Transplant update

Hay guys, Hannah here. First off thank you so much for all the donations so far, we really appreciate it and am overwhelmed by the generosity.

We still havnt heard if I am on the active list yet, however the transplant team has asked us to come back to Auckland for more testing, and to meet with the surgeons and transplant cardiologist. So we are hoping this will be the last step to being listed.

As you can imagine this is an extra step we didn't anticipate so we appreciate the donations that will go towards supporting us while we are in Auckland, meals, transport and anything else we may need.

We will endeavour to keep you all updated and if you wish follow me on TikTok where I update regularly.

Thank you again for your thoughts, donations and support.
