Hardworking 80year old man.

Hi all i am writting on behalf of a work colleague named Vernon, he is over 80y/o. We are a chip factory, working 12hr shifts 24/5 and due to his age we are the only company willing to give this man a chance. A few years ago Vernon had retired, long story short he is now left with a financial crisis and has to work to survive and make ends meet. Each day must be a struggle for this man not just physically but mentally and emotionally. As i watch Vernon everynight working 12hrs my heart aches. Im constantly looking at him making sure hes ok without making it obvious, as hes a loving stubborn independent fellow and id like him to think he still has his independence without being hovered over. Swollen legs and sometimes can barely walk, has collapsed once before due to low blood pressure, old people problems i know, but its sad for me and i cant bare it anymore watching him struggle every night just to make a dollar when he should be home enjoying what life he has left. Vernon is 1 of the most loyal people i have ever come across in my life and feel this is a time in his life where work shouldnt be an option, even tho he is a very hardworking man. I myself will make the first donation of $100 and will make often payments from here on out. I pray and hope this becomes a great success for him.
