Harry is doing well :)
Had a trip to our local cafe and was the center of attention. He appears to be taking everything in his stride.
Still a long way for all the scars to heal over but the vet is pleased with his progress so far.
Harry is home but there's still a long way to go we are not out of the woods yet and may be looking at further surgery fingers crossed everything continues to improve. It will be a long road to recovery.

We don't want to get our hopes up to much but he is showing definite signs of improvement, we thought yesterday afternoon we were going to lose him but once again he amazed everyone as he fought back from the dead as an infection had taken hold.

Harry seems to be on the mend this morning and it seemed even had a bit of spark in his eyes today, he spent yesterday at our local vets and last night we shuttled him back to the Emergency centre so they could maintain 24 hour care for his injuries. We brought him back this morning to our local clinic where they will decide this afternoon if he needs to have another night at the 24hr Emergency vets.
Anita and I cannot thank everyone enough for their kind words and support we are overwhelm by how great people can be in supporting one another. Thank you all again.
Animal Control Auckland are continuing their investigation into the attack and the circumstances surrounding it.
