As known by many now the community has been struck with unforeseen grief in a fatal car accident in Invercargill. Along those effected was the beautiful Omaruhuatau Tawhai. ‘Maru’.
In an instant his whanau world was changed. Their hearts broken. Amanda and Teira losing their baby. Not something any parent should ever have to experience. Jai, Tamara & Awhi losing their baby brother. Fairlayne losing her partner. The whanau losing a moko, nephew, cousin and friend. The community losing a handsome young man.
Maru an 17 year old young beautiful, talented, caring and cheeky man has been stolen and hearts are suffering.
Those who know and love Maru will be deeply saddened and I would like to put this page out to whanau & friends wide and far who want to tautoko this whanau in their grief by supporting with financial burden of what has already been a terrible tragedy.
Any tautoko will be appreciated by the whanau and all contributions will go to the whanau in supporting with Maru’s tangihanga.
