    If you haven't already seen on Vickie's facebook pages, she has had some wonderful news. Following her first scans since the devastating news she received prior to Christmas, her oncologist has told her that all 5 of her tumors have shrunk significantly - 30 - 40%! This was not expected! At the most she was expecting that if the medication was working, there may have been some slowing or halting of the growth of the tumors. So this news is quite literally a miracle! And this would not have happened without the treatment Vickie is receiving due solely to the generosity of you all! Her next scans will be June/July. She currently has enough funds for the treatment through to August so she needs to keep fundraising.

    I've extended this page as long as I can until 20 July. It would be amazing to not only reach her original goal of 10 months funding, but to get her through the rest of this year. This medication is working!!!

    Thank you so much everyone who has sent Vickie their thoughts and prayers and made donations. It has been wonderful to see the other ways people have reached out to Vickie and offered their help and support, whether it be financial help with childcare (thanks Pebbles Sumner), electricity bill support (thanks Kea Energy), transporting the medication to Vickie (thanks Cooltranz), helping her keep up her fitness and mental well-being (thanks Reform Pilates), an amazing workplace (thanks TE & Co), fund raised by a concert by Convergence Dance Studios (20 March - see details attached), the ongoing givealittle donations from friends of friends of Vickie, and general community support (thanks Sumner), everything has been truly appreciated by Vickie and Ryan.

    The medication has been tough going and Vickie has been quite unwell at times. But she is pushing on and we all hope and pray that it will cure her.

    I've extended the duration of this givealittle page for another month as it would be so good to reach our goal of $55,000 - only $13,000 to go!
