Help us purchase a high-quality wig to bring comfort and confidence back to 16-year-old Alinda during her leukemia treatment.
Hamilton, Waikato
In January this year, our lives changed overnight when my 16-year-old daughter, Alinda, was diagnosed with B-cell Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL).
She is currently undergoing an intense, long-term chemotherapy treatment. Like so many brave young people facing cancer, losing her hair has been one of the hardest emotional hurdles to bear. At 16, feeling like yourself matters so much, and losing her hair has taken a toll on her confidence during an already exhausting journey.
We want to gift Alinda a natural, high-quality human hair wig—something comfortable and realistic that lets her feel like herself again when she steps out into the world.
Quality wigs for teenagers are costly, and we would be deeply grateful for any support to help make this happen for Alinda. Every small contribution, share, or kind message means the world to our family. Thank you so much for your warmth and generosity!
She refused to take a photo without a hat for the page. She is not ready to share it.
Funds will go for purchasing a natural human hair wig and fitting services for Alinda. Any extra funds raised beyond our target will support her ongoing medical and daily care needs during treatment.
