This is it, folk. We have just a few hours in which the target might be reached. The journey so far has been very heartwarming. So good to know that compassion for others is still motivating us to reach out a hand. Kindness shall prevail!

Yesterday's winds in Kashmir removed another sheet of iron from the roof!

We have a week to go with high hopes of reaching the target. Recent rains have caused further issues, but the family are hopeful to begin repairs as soon as they have enough money to begin.
They have asked for our prayers and expressed gratitude beyond words for the kindness you have shown.

The recipient of the funds we are raising is deeply humbled by the kindness shown to date. Upon learning the amount raised so far he wrote:
"Ohh, wow. That's so nice of people!"
He also reports that it has rained again in the past 24 hours! As a result everything he did to clean up and prepare for the repairs from the storm needs doing again! The electricity was cut again and the long very hot spell has ended, hopefully only temporarily, so nothing is drying out yet. He asks for our prayers.
