Help Nancy and Eder get back on their feet again, who lost their baby and dream business to a tragic accident.
Auckland
Nancy De Arcos Ortis and Eder Rivera had recently embarked on their Kiwi dream of having their own small business named Tacos "El Carnal" Ltd. Friday the 19th of June was their first night of business at the Papatoetoe Night Market.
It was successful and busy night. As the night ended, they packed up their equipment and were happily headed home in two separate cars when Eder heard a loud bang. He immediately turned around and found that Nancy has had a horrendous collision with another car and had smashed through the fence of a house.
Nancy was pregnant. A bystander had helped her out on the side of the road. Eder tried to call the paramedics, but he was unable to dial so a bystander helped him call an ambulance. Nancy was taken to Middlemore hospital. She had to go into emergency surgery Saturday morning and due to internal bleeding, she had lost the baby.
Friday was a special day because it was the start of Nancy's dream of having their own business. In a matter of minutes Nancy lost her baby and most of her equipment for the business.
Through this givealittle initiative we appeal to your generosity to help Nancy and her bereaved family back on their feet. The donations will go towards the costs to the family during this time of crisis and towards the lost equipment so that Nancy can kickstart her dream again. Nancy also has kindly given me permission to set this page to help the family.
We thank you for your generosity.
The insurance that they had was car insurance.
