Help a Fijian Family Make It To An Unveiling in NZ.

At 43, my darling husband and father to our three young children passed away suddenly on 21st July 2020. It went down traumatically for our families. To add to the shock, due to closed borders, we couldn't take him home to his beloved Fiji for burial, neither could family living abroad come to NZ. It was the hardest time. Now the borders have finally opened up in 2022, we are able to hold his Unveiling.

With high living costs, especially in Fiji and with 10+ family members wishing to travel, we simply need help with funds for travel. Will you help us? It would mean so much to be together and to finally bring closure to this part of our whanau's grieving process.

Visas (that are very costly) need to be lodged now as the processing time can take up to 5 months. Additionally there is a chance that airfares will be very expensive especially if NZ immigration use up the entire 5 months to grant the visas. We are praying it doesn't come to this, and that we get them sooner rather than later.
