Hi there,

I don't usually ask for help from anyone but I am stressing quite alot as my husband has had a car accident and now has a broken sternum and fractured ribs. **He is now being flown to Wellington tomorrow** for major chest surgery to fix the break before it punctures his lungs or heart. I would like to be able to travel with our children to Wellington after the surgery and would like to be able to stay overnight somewhere at least. I'm wondering if there would be any kind hearted people able help me and children to be able to be with Husband/ Dad during some of this time pleassseee. 😢😢😢

Edit ** due to multiple delays with more severe patients, husband was finally transferred to Wellington via Ambulance for surgery yesterday (Monday).further delays meant he was unable to have this happen again.

But TODAY is the big day! He went in to theatre at 3.50pm so now waiting to hear news🫶

Hi there beautiful people as most people are aware Matt's surgery was performed on the 20th of February and funds were meant to be used towards travel and accommodation for myself and children but however givealittles processes have meant these funds have still not been released or been able to be used towards such things as intended for. However I would like to use these funds towards equipment to help with Matt's healing and recovery in the long term. Shower/bath aides, something to help him get in and out of bed a bit easier, handles to help with getting up and down stairs, on/off toilet and in and out of shower. He has a long road.of recovery still ahead and will take some time before he is at full capacity again to be able to resume normal activities and work
