Help a Mum of 7 Rebuild After a House Fire ❤️”

$1,338 of $10,000 goal
Given by 37 generous donors in 3 days

A solo mum and her seven children have lost their home and belongings in a devastating house fire. Please help them rebuild their lives. ❤️

New Plymouth, Taranaki

My sister Emma Rose Anderson and her seven children have had their lives turned upside down after their family home was destroyed in a devastating house fire. Unfortunately she did not have insurance

She is a solo mum raising seven kids, and they have lost the place they called home along with their belongings and the everyday things most of us take for granted.

Right now, the most important thing is helping her and the kids get back on their feet and giving them some stability after such a frightening and overwhelming experience.

We have created this Givealittle page to help raise money towards the things they urgently need, including clothing and shoes for the children, food and everyday essentials, temporary accommodation and housing costs, furniture, bedding and household items, and replacing belongings that were lost in the fire.

No mum should have to worry about how she is going to rebuild a home for seven children after something like this.

Any donation, whether it is $5, $20 or more, will make a genuine difference to this family. If you aren’t in a position to donate, sharing this page would also mean so much to us.

Every dollar raised will go towards helping my sister and her seven children recover, replace what they have lost and start rebuilding their lives.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who donates, shares this page or offers their support during this incredibly difficult time. ❤️

An amazing response – updating our goal ❤️  19 September 2026

We are honestly overwhelmed by the support shown to my sister and her 7 children after losing their home and belongings in the house fire.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, they have now received a large amount of donated clothing and other essential items. Because many of those immediate needs have been taken care of, we have decided to update the goal of this Givealittle page to $10,000.

The funds raised will now be focused on helping the family get back on their feet and rebuild their lives — including replacing household belongings, furniture and other necessities that were lost in the fire, as well as helping with the costs that come with starting again from almost nothing.

Every donation, share, item and message of support has meant so much to our family. We cannot thank everyone enough for coming together during such a devastating time.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting my sister and her 7 kids. ❤️
