    Tim and the team fly out bound for Italy today to start their prep for the Winter Special Olympics. We wish Tim all the best for the competition. A big Thank You to everyone who has contributed to getting him there.

      And a big thank you to you, Mike, for setting up this givealittle page. It has given Tim so much more than just the money … not to diminish how helpful that has been … but it has meant that Tim has received and really felt the strong love, support and encouragement given by so many people … family, friends, schoolmates, teachers, workmates, gym buddies, acquaintances … he has encountered on his life’s journey.

      He was very excited when I spoke to him yesterday and determined to do his very best representing his country.

      We’re all super proud of him, and his achievements so far, and look forward to seeing how far he can fly in the next couple of weeks. Thanks everyone. Margie, John and whanau.

    Thank you all very much for your help. Tim's mum Margie manages Tim's finances, and the donations go through her to Tim. We are all blown away by your generosity. Tim is currently at a training camp but will be back at work next week. The Special Olympic Team management are continuing with getting organised for the Winter Games next year.
