Just wanted to update the end date! I also changed the amount to $440, the previous amount was to cover 4 weeks and this amount is just for 2 weeks. Regardless I am eternally grateful to every single person who has helped me. I cannot wait to be the person to help others (financially) in the future! It feels way better to be the one to give. Y' know one of my biggest driving forces is my personal belief that if I give my energy to my community, in my small corner of the planet then I will be contributing to making the world a better place. It is so easy to feel like you're powerless to all the evil and war and political corruption, but so long as all the good people with spoons to spare show up, build, connect and thrive, then I am hopeful for the future. Even so, its very easy to feel defeated from all the hours of doomscrolling.
I am so glad I pushed through the shame that is asking for help, to ask this time, because it has refreshed my energy to be a part of something, even if its something small!
