Help Alfred represent NZ in the ITTF Oceania Cup in 15 Feb 2025 in Melbourne.

Alfred has been selected to represent NZ in the 2025 ITTF Oceania Cup in Melbourne (Feb 15 & 16 2025)

One small issue is that at that time, Alfred is in Europe! This is because earlier this month Alfred got a call to play in the prestigious German Pro League (Jan to May 2025)

This GiveALittle campaign is to assist for Alfred to fly from Europe to Melbourne and back again, plus allow for other expenses associated with playing for NZ in Melbourne.

This GiveALittle campaign is run by Alfred's home club, Waitemata Table Tennis Association (WTTA), the home of Table Tennis in West Auckland for the past 60 years.

WTTA has a brand new international standard stadium in Parr’s Park, Henderson (www.wtta.nz)

On top of training and competing, Alfred supports our association by serving on our executive committee, mentoring younger players, running our weekly West Auckland school’s team competition, casual night sessions, and junior coaching. Alfred is the youngest ever Waitemata Table Tennis committee member & head coach, taking on both roles at only 15 in 2016

There is currently almost no funding in NZ to support high performance Table Tennis players. Since 2013, Alfred has mostly met his own costs for training and competition, with the support and donations from the public, the WTTA and sponsors.

The trip to Melbourne is estimated to cost $3500.
