Loving father and husband, passionate technologist, New Zealand Futsal goalkeeper, loyal friend, and beautiful human. All words that describe Atta Elayyan.

Atta was one of the 50 killed in the Christchurch Mosque Shootings on the 15th of March 2019. He leaves behind his wife Farah and 2 year old daughter Aya.

He'd invested the last 7 years of his life in his start-up, LWA Solutions. This was a huge commitment for him with a long term growth outlook that has been cut short by his death. This has caused significant financial uncertainty for his wife and daughter.

Atta had a passion for supporting and helping others in the good times and bad. This is our opportunity to give back to his family, Farah and Aya.

Our sympathy to your family. We are a food truck business. We held an impromptu fundraising outside our church and have raised this amount for you. We asked the people to "pay as they feel" for the food that they receive and have stated that all of our proceeds will be donated to a Christchurch victim. Many of them openly donated large amounts for very little food in exchange. It has been an incredible experience. We hope you feel the love we are sending even with this small amount we have donated. Keep strong for your daughter. We are with you.

The Green Island u17 Football team were shocked and saddened to hear of this terrible tragedy. As fellow footballers (some of whom knew Atta) his death was especially poignant for the team. We hope this donation can, in some small way, help Aya to achieve her dreams.
