Help Baby Archie and His Whānau Through This Difficult Time
Wellington
Little Archie had a tough start to life, and now he and his whānau need your support.
Born prematurely at just 34 weeks due to growth restrictions in the womb, Archie arrived weighing a tiny 1.4kg. After spending five weeks in NICU, his parents and big sister, Lily (3.5), were overjoyed to finally bring him home.
But their journey took a heartbreaking turn. After just a couple of weeks at home, Archie became unwell and was hospitalised. Though he was discharged after a few days, he soon deteriorated rapidly and had to be rushed back to ED, where he was resuscitated before being moved to intensive care.
Now, as Archie fights to recover, his parents are doing everything they can to be by his side. But with Dad out of leave and the family relying on a single income, they are facing mounting financial stress.
We are reaching out for support to help cover everyday expenses while Archie recovers and gets back home to his loving whānau. Every contribution, big or small, will make a difference and be deeply appreciated.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
The beneficiary is my brother Daniel Eaton and my SIL.
Bills and living expenses so dad can take the time off work without worrying about making ends meet
Archie’s back home ❤️❤️❤️ 9 April 2025
We’re so happy to share that Archie is finally home from hospital after a tough five nights. While his cold symptoms will linger a bit longer, we’re incredibly relieved to have our family back together under the same roof.
It was a sleepless first night home for Coral who spent every moment checking on him, but being reunited as a family again makes it all worthwhile. Lily is thrilled to have her baby brother home, she was absolutely fizzing last night!
Thank you so much for all your love, kind words, and support during this time. It means the world to us. We are truly humbled.
Dan, Coral, Lily and Archie
