Help Bachan Singh for lifesaving treatment and return to India and support his family during this difficult time.
Auckland
Bachan Singh is an ordinary, hardworking man who saved some money from his wages and came to New Zealand with the dream of creating a better future for his wife and two daughters in India.
Towards the end of last year, he was admitted to hospital, where doctors discovered that both of his kidneys had failed. He has diabetes and high blood pressure and now depends on dialysis three times a week to stay alive. Sadly, his condition has continued to deteriorate. Severe infections have already led to the amputation of two toes, and doctors have warned that he may lose his leg if the infection continues to spread.
As Bachan is not a New Zealand resident, a kidney transplant is not an option for him here. His illness also means he is no longer able to work, leaving him without an income to support his family. His wife and two daughters remain in India, relying on him as their only source of financial support.
Bachan’s only wish is to return home to India, where he can be with his family and pursue further treatment, including the possibility of a kidney transplant. We are raising funds to help cover his travel, medical treatment, and provide financial support for his family during this incredibly difficult time.
Every donation, no matter how small, will make a real difference. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayers.
I know Bachan Singh from last 1 year and am organising this fundraiser with his knowledge to help him and his family during this difficult time.
Funds will be used for Bachan’s transplant-related expenses, medical expenses ,travel back home and living costs for his wife and daughters, and essential support during his recovery
