A small local Dance School

Browns Bay, Auckland

My sisters studio, Bays School of Dance, unfortunately got flooded to waist height water in the flooding and downpour in Auckland yesterday. We did the best we could to salvage things but the water damage was extensive. Unfortunately this business is not insured and all the damage will be at my sisters own cost. My sister has worked tirelessly to keep her dance school running through Covid. She runs multiple fundraisers, dedicates hours and hours of unpaid work and weekends to give her dance students awesome opportunities and a beautiful space to dance and learn. Bays School of Dance is a family business that has been running for over 50 years in the North Shore Community. There is extensive water damage to the dance floors, dance equipment, dance stock including dance shoes and uniforms, stereo equipment and electronics. We would appreciate any help or donation you can give. The cost of the damage will be extensive, but every little bit will help. My sister is determined to keep this studio running and loves her students. She is absolutely devastated this has happened. Thank you so much for everyone who has already helped. Your generosity means so much to my sister and our family.
