Help Blake aged 4 have his mummy with him during chemotherapy treatment for acute myeloid leukemia.
Otago
I am saddened to express my son Blake aged 4 has been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) he has started chemotherapy on the 26th of October.
Unfortunately Blake has been living in the south island of New Zealand with his father and I am located in Auckland. We would LOVE to be able to support him and be there for him as often as life allows us to be. Sadly funds are limited. I can't make it to him as often as he needs his mummy.
Blake is facing 6 months or longer here in Christchurch hospital for treatment. He is unable to leave until he goes into remission and we rid him of this destructive blood cancer he has. It breaks his heart not to have me here with him as it also breaks mine not to be there.
I am hoping to fund travel and accommodation to be there through out his treatment. As a mother in my position I just want to hold him throughout. I'm not one to reach out for help but this boy needs all the support he can get. This is a very scary time for us and I am seeking donations or alternatively prayers for him to get better soon.
Thank you.
I am Blake's mother.
The main goal is to provide us with money to help with travel costs and accommodation during his treatment as well as provide him with creature comforts to make his room more comfortable and exciting during his stay here in the choc ward.
