23 December 2023Thankyou everyone from the bottom of our hearts for your love, support & donations... Whatever form your love has come in, we are so grateful & your kindness has shown us so much love that is helping with the beginning of our healing process, not just the money but any thought you have all spared for our family.
Tony is still in Rarotonga & will arrive home here in NZ on the 27th December flying with Mum & Dad on the same flight home all together.
Your contributions will go towards Tony's process coming home which is insanely expensive to do.
We love & thank you all but it is time to close off the donations now as mum & dad want to feel like proud parents & cover the rest of the cost themselves for Tony & no longer feel comfortable receiving donations & especially at Christmas time.
You all managed to help raise just under half of the cost to get him home & it was more than we ever imagined would be given or expected.
We wish you a safe & Merry Christmas with your loved ones & please never go turtle seeking in the lagoon on your own EVER!
The Avaavaroa Passage has claimed many lives & it will continue to do so, we hope that the word gets spread & heard, Tony was an experienced diver & still never stood a chance in a million against mother nature & her force.
