    I just wanted to say on behalf of Dale’s mum and I (dales sister) that we are both so grateful and humbled by the generosity and love from everyone. Dales was an amazing human and is and always will be loved and missed by so many. With your amazing generosity Dale got the farewells he so deserved without adding more stress onto mum and I in an already stressful and hard time. Words cannot express our gratitude but thank you so much ❤️

  • The biggest thank you

    I just wanted to reach out to each and everyone of you that donated to and in memory of Dale. Because of your amazing generosity we were able to have an amazing funeral for Dale and are having his Part 2 funeral here in Christchurch in two weeks. This allowed both of his family and friends in both Auckland and Christchurch (and afar) to say they’re “see you laters” to Dale without causing too much stress on myself and Dales mum. With any money that is left over after having paid for the funerals and flying myself and mum up to Auckland, we will be setting up an Ice Hockey memorial cup in Dales honour and donating to the NZ Surf Lifesavers x again we couldn’t have given Dale the send off he deserved without your love and support through this heartbreaking time xx
