Help Charlotte beat Cancer

Charlotte McLeod was diagnosed with a Stage 4 Neuroblastoma in May this year. We have now learned that this has progressed to other areas making treatment and her journey more complex.

Her diagnosis and pre-treatment care began in Christchurch Hospital. The medical team have been amazing throughout this first stage, however Charlotte's battle begins at Starship Hospital in Auckland, where she will be for the duration of her treatment.

Charlotte's journey begins with chemotherapy, something that she witnessed her mother Hayley go through only last year in her fight against Breast Cancer. Following this, Charlotte will need surgery to remove the Neuroblastoma.

This little girl is a fighter and has been incredibly brave throughout her diagnosis and treatment. She is ready to face this cruel disease with the help of her family, friends, and the incredible medical team at Starship Hospital.

Although Starship Hospital is the best place for Charlotte, Auckland is a long way from her family and friends in Ashburton. This means her parents Hayley and Hamish are unable to work full time and will be away from Charlotte's siblings Maggie and Fergus.
