Friends, I am sorry to let you all know that Chester passed away this morning.

The family are immensely grateful to you all for your expressed love messages, support and financial gifts. In time, I’m sure that Ella will want to contact you all herself. It’s been my absolute privilege to arrange this page to help Chester and his family in this difficult time. Kindest regards.

Friends, your support for Chester and his family has been great fully received. But unfortunately, the drug treatment has been stopped as it was not working, and Chester is now seriously ill, and the prognosis is sadly bad. I will try to keep you all updated in future days, but your support has allowed all his family to return home to be with him now. Again, sincere thanks. David Bennett.

Chester, Ella and their whole family are immensely grateful for all your gifts, kind words and prayers. It’s been hugely comforting to know that so many people care, and are concerned for his health and recovery. I spoke to Ella yesterday, and we agreed that since so much had been donated, that we would close the Givealittle page early next week, as by then the target along with other funds will have been achieved. This has been of great comfort to the family, to know that the funds are available for a full treatment. It will be a few weeks yet till we know how successful this will have been. As of mid-day today, with the Give-a-Little only live for 2 days, we have raised just over $10,000, which means his fourth jab is assured. (Tsb arena is for horses at the showgrounds lol...)
