Help Christie receive life-saving treatment

Meet Christie. She’s a 27-year-old lover of baking, Bernese Mountain dogs and being with her friends. She’s a talented accountant who secured a coveted transfer to London, where she was excited to begin the OE of a lifetime.

In November 2022, before her 27th birthday, Christie was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma - found in her brain, lymph nodes, lungs, liver and bones. After three attempts at treatment, she has one last hope: a drug called Opdualag (with proven success in treating stage 4 melanoma). It leverages the patient's own immune system, amplifying its ability to detect and combat the melanoma cells.

She needs $80,000 NZD p/month to fund the 2yr treatment plan. Our initial goal is to fund 1yr of treatment. Every contribution gives Christie, and everybody who loves her, hope for her future.

Christie has shown incredible grit and optimism in the battle against melanoma. This has been nothing short of inspiring. Perhaps as devastating as the diagnosis itself, is the financial hardship of accessing lifesaving treatment.
