Help Daniel and the boys get back on there feet

Hi I'm alisia, As we know Auckland has been hit with major flooding Henderson in particular has been hit extremely hard. I'm sitting here with tears rolling down my face as it's sinking in what My family are going through. My uncle Daniel and his two sons Corey and Seth have been devastated by the flooding loosing there 3bedroom home and 5 vehicles unfortunately no insurance , they were lucky to escape with there lives.

When I arrived the very next morning my heart broke they have lost everything with the water rising so high waist deep in some areas, there were tears laughter and memories all shared during our first day of clean up. With us cousins realising our family home isn't here any more this was our sanctuary and a safe haven for all the kids to play my uncle made sure every kid that ever entered his property had a bike or something to play with this is the kind of man he is. He would give you the clothes off his back.

He is currently 6 weeks post op from spinal fusion surgery so he's unable to work this is just adding to the stress trying to work out how to start over his son Corey had his and his partners car ruined , work gear everything lost . Their 10 year old son has found it the hardest this is the only home he's ever had watching his toys and trophy's wash away was so hard on him. I'm reaching out to my friends extended whanau any one if you have anything to spare to help our whanau get back on there feet this is going to be long road.
