A special thank you to recent donors. Here is a picture of Skylar the puppy Danielle bought home last Saturday thanks to a kind breeder who let us pay $360 deposit and the remainder over time. We still need another $1000 to finish the payment. If you can help us we would really appreciate it. Love Danielle. Ps Skylar thinks Danielle is Mum. Sleeps in her bed and follows Danielle everywhere. She loves playing with a ball and dragging items of washing and socks into Danielle’s room and onto her rug. She bounces around and jumps into and at Danielle’s bean bag. She is very busy and very sweet.

  • Puppy found deposit to be paid on Saturday

      5 March 2020

We have found a kind breeder who is allowing us to pay off a puppy over time after a deposit is made this Saturday. Please help Danielle get more money together before Saturday for her deposit. See a picture of the possible puppy below, we still need to raise the rest of the money. So thank you to you all for your kindness in helping Danielle have a puppy to grow up and be her therapy dog for those tough days when she is so nauseous and fatigued and facing brain fog and dizziness.

  • Returning to new goal

      3 March 2020

We had seen Maltese puppies advertised on adpost.com that were half this price but later found out that many of those advertising puppies on the site were scammers from overseas. Our hopes were dashed again. Now our goal seems all that more unachievable but maybe you can help. As a family we have fallen on hard times and so won’t achueve this goal ourselves for quite sometime.

  • We continue to miss Theo

It’s been two weeks since we had to put Theo down. Danielle continues to miss him dearly. Last year Theo had an FCE which is kind of like a stroke for a dog. We spent about 7 months rehabilitating him. He became all the more precious. Danielle is in year 12 and would come home last year to Theo’s enthusiastic love and cuddles. After resting her fatigued body she would do study and play with Theo. Now she feels like she has lost her companion and soul mate. While her twin brother and older sister have the energy for a social life and school Danielle has to rest more and be alone more. But Theo was always there to cheer her up with his presence. Please help us find the money to get Danielle another Maltese or similar puppy that loves being close to people, a lap dog. We have raised some money with a garage sale but we still need so much more.
