Help Dargaville Little Theatre perform in Monaco and present Northland arts and culture to the world!

Our tiny theatre group has been selected to represent New Zealand at the world-wide amateur theatre festival (Mondiale du Théâtre) in Monaco in August 2025.

Eight extraordinary, dedicated, Northland women put this original show together, took it to Wellington and won the National TheatreFest competition held by Theatre New Zealand.

Finding the $40,000 we need to take it to the world is a next-level challenge. Please help us get there by donating what you can.

Also watch out for local fund-raising performances of our production “Out of Mind."

About us

Dargaville Little Theatre is an amateur theatre company located in Northland. We pride ourselves on providing quality entertainment for the people of Dargaville and beyond. We prioritise creating a safe space for people to engage with theatre.

Use of funds

Flights, trains, busses, accomodation and food.

All funds raised here will go towards the travel costs of the team, irrespective of whether we reach the target.

MILESTONE UPDATE  16 April 2025

Thanks to our wonderful community and beyond, we have officially surpassed the half way mark on our fundraising goal.

This is incredible considering we haven’t found any grants we qualify for, nor been successful for corporate sponsorship. This has all been raised from people and small businesses.

Thanks to everyone who has donated here, directly to us, bought raffle tickets, baking, or merch, our total now stands at over $21,000!

We have been busy publicising our cause in our community as well and share this pic of cast member Brenda and Director Eryn speaking at a local function.
