Help Dargaville Little Theatre perform in Monaco and present Northland arts and culture to the world!

Our tiny theatre group has been selected to represent New Zealand at the world-wide amateur theatre festival (Mondiale du Théâtre) in Monaco in August 2025.
Eight extraordinary, dedicated, Northland women put this original show together, took it to Wellington and won the National TheatreFest competition held by Theatre New Zealand.
Finding the $40,000 we need to take it to the world is a next-level challenge. Please help us get there by donating what you can.

About us
Dargaville Little Theatre is an amateur theatre company located in Northland. We pride ourselves on providing quality entertainment for the people of Dargaville and beyond. We prioritise creating a safe space for people to engage with theatre.
Use of funds
Flights, trains, busses, accomodation and food.
All funds raised here will go towards the travel costs of the team, irrespective of whether we reach the target.

Thank you all so much for your support so far. We have been fundraising and receiving donations which brings our total raised so far to $7,000! We’ve shared a pic of some of our team at our recent bake sale. We have a long way to go yet and will be looking for corporate sponsorship to help get us to Monaco. If anyone can connect us to the right people that would be amazing! They say New Zealand has two degrees of separation, so someone must know someone right?
In other news, we have started rehearsing in preparation for Monaco and to complete a tour of Northland 😊. If you’re keen to stay up to date with our activities we now have a dedicated Facebook and Instagram pages “Dargaville to Monaco”.
