Caitlin asks
Hi Diamond, my name is Caitlin. I’m conducting a study at the University of Auckland on the use of crowdfunding platforms to fund health-related costs in New Zealand. I’m hoping to speak with people with experience of setting up and managing a Givealittle page on behalf of a loved one. I understand this will be a time of immense pressure for all involved, but I’m also aware this may be a topic close to your heart, and I believe your contribution to the project would be really valuable. If you are open to participating or would like more information, please email me confidentially at cneu868@aucklanduni.ac.nz. Participation would involve a conversational interview at a time/place convenient to you. To thank participants for their time, each will receive a $30 voucher. Thanks and best wishes. Approved by the University of Auckland Human Participants Ethics Committee on 11th June 2019 for three years, Reference Number 023136.

Steve asks
Hi Diamond do you know your tumours MSI and or your PDL-1 status for Immunotherapy compatibility?
Your Immuno regime is a very good combination and can be very successful. If you do prove compatible it could give you a much longer outlook, than what you hope for.
I have traveled this journey and lived life in the terminal lane
All the best Steve

Deborah asks
Hi delina, I too have a very rare endometrial stromal sarcoma and also seeking funds for non funded immunotherapies!!! Pharmac has a lot to answer for! I have recently paid for a genome test to see if I have any mutations that could be treated with other drugs in my example my mutations is a Basel cell carcinoma, so now trying drugs that treat that hoping to shrink my tumours, ask your Oncologist to get a foundation one test done approximately $5000. At your own costs could be a miracle for you. Good luck.
Deborah Winefield.
