My name is Fiver Dearnley. I am a 21 year old trans man from Te Whanganui a Tara who is currently trying to get the funds together for a gender affirming mastectomy. Chest dysphoria has been impacting me for many years now, affecting the clothes I wear and the way I hold myself, causing mental distress, and making it hard to look in the mirror. Getting this surgery will greatly improve my wellbeing, giving me more confidence and comfort in my body.
I have a surgery date booked for November 12th 2026 at the Siamese Clinic in Thailand which I have paid the deposit for. My quoted cost for surgery is 212,000 baht, which by current conversion rates is around $11,700 NZD. I am wanting to have $15,000 total to safely allow for flights, food, accommodation, and all other incidental costs.
So far I have independently saved $5,000 and will close this page if I make it to my goal before the limit is reached on the fundraiser. If you have anything to spare I would hugely appreciate the contribution to my medical transition.
