Help for Ash the Puppy Rescuer

Ash and her friends (including myself) attended Friday Jams in Auckland on 14/11/22, only to return to a missing car. We had packed up their belongings to head to Taupo straight afterwards. The most traumatic thing was that our 12 yr old daughters bunny which she has had since she was 2 years old was also in the car.

Ash had partial insurance on her car but not fire and theft - her car was stolen and she can't replace it.

We received a message from a kind man over the last weekend who had found the car abandoned outside his home. We went to retrieve the car and the belongings (which most of the belongings were there including bunny (YAY)), but the car is undrivable. The thieves have smashed the front right tyre into something so hard that it has broken the whole front arm - we can't get it home. Ash has borrowed $850 alone for the trip back to Auckland only to come home with nothing. She has been quoted $1800 to get it towed home. This doesn't include any repair work.

Ash is an amazing woman with 2 children who volunteers for Ellies Canine Rescue and now has no car to save dogs from the pound, nor does she have a spare $7000 to buy a new car. She is always going our of her way to help others, the least she deserves is some help to get her back on her feet.
