Dad has been diagnosed with Stage 3 terminal lung cancer and the financial stress is making it hard for us all to enjoy time with dad.
Bay of Plenty
On the 17th of September, after a month of test after test, dad was diagnosed with Stage 3 lung cancer, which is terminal. At this stage we are unsure of his time frame but we would love to make it as happy and enjoyable as possible with all his friends and family around him.
Dad and his partner Anna have 5 children and 9 beautiful Moko’s to spend his time with. In that time there are a few things dad would love to do like going back to the East Coast to visit his mother before he passes and spend as much time as he can with his kids and Moko’s.
As we all have families of our own or have our own financial stresses there is not much help with covering costs planning for the funeral and bills both before and after.
Being a hard working, old school stubborn man, he is not one to ask or rely on help from others. But given the situation, the financial stresses for him and his partner Anna to enjoy his final chapter, cover funeral costs and help with bills before then, are still an everyday struggle.
The donations will also help with the financial stress for Anna after dads tangi so she has the time to grieve and not have to worry about money.
Any help small or big will be greatly appreciated by both Dad and Anna and all his kids and Moko’s.
We love you dad xo
Boogie is my papa and having a big family of my own I don’t have the financial ability to help out as much as I’d like to.
Funds will be used for dad’s funeral costs, coffin, marae cost, burial plot, hearse hire and bills before he passes. Also after he passes there will still bills that need to be handled while his children and partner have time to grieve.
