I just read your story on Stuff.co.nz and would like to offer to help with your journey to Cape Reinga.

My wife and I own a 25-acre property in the far north, 2.5 hours from Cape Reinga, which we are currently developing into an eco-retreat. The property has beautiful native forests, freshwater springs, kiwis calling and walking around at night, glow worms, and rivers.

We would like to offer you and your husband a place to stay, along with meals and transportation to Cape Reinga if needed. I also know various tourism operators in the Bay of Islands and can likely organize a few other magical experiences while you're up here!
