Help wee Harlem's recovery fund after being lost in the bush for five nights.

Langs Beach, Northland

Our daughter Ashlee recently brought home a one-year-old ex-breeding French Bulldog called Harlem. Unfortunately as soon as we got home from picking Harlem up she escaped into bush and was missing for five nights. As we never gave up hope and tried everything we could, including getting a tracker dog in, we eventually caught Harlem in a dog trap thanks to some tasty KFC. Harlem then had to spend three days in veterinary care to help her recover from her ordeal. While she is on the mend now, my daughter is currently unable to pay for the full amount of the unexpected vet bill so any donation would be gratefully accepted.

You forgot to mention you have been friends with the breeder for over 10yrs and received several FREE dogs ! You had Harlem for half and hour and decided to take her outside opposite your holiday beach house to pee WITHOUT a harness or lead so she bolted . You’re a world traveller yet ask people to donate because of YOUR neglect! Then try and spin a story that the breeder was to blame ..your friend for over 10 yrs !!! One of NZs most respected ethical breeders . You and your family are disgusting. And the lies you told your vet and the dog tracker is truely disturbing. You should be ashamed of yourself .
