Christmas Update

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has donated to the Give a Little page Jennifer set up for us 🧡🧡 we really appreciate it !!! As for what’s happening with Hols - we really don’t know - no one knows anymore. She’s doing this treatment thing her own way, which makes her a bit challenging for the Drs 😂... she continues to need at least weekly transfusions, but her little army of white cells has improved a tad! She has another 5 weeks on the drugs she is currently on before we decide whether another transplant is necessary, or alternatively we take her home dependent on continue transfusion and hope the research catches up with her. We have been told the only treatment option left, if the current drug fails, is transplant.... we hope like anything we can avoid that as there are significant risks involved, so as hard as it is being transfusion dependent, we would prefer to do that than subject Hols to a third transplant .... so more waiting and hoping xx
