Help fund a life changing treatment for Brett and family

    Hey everyone sorry for the long wait but I promise it’s worth it!

    We are extremely pleased to be home after almost 3 weeks away.

    Brett has shown excellent improvements after the perispinal entanercept injections(2).

    We think he has improved around 30% at this stage with the chance of making more improvements over the coming months.

    We are excited for the future and what it may bring.

    There are no clear guides with this but some of the people that have done this stayed improved for over 20 years. So we are keeping our fingers crossed for that outcome.

  • We made it!

    Hey everyone!! We made it to Florida yesterday after a half way stop for a couple of days. Went to Dr Tobernick this morning for Bretts pre examination and he is having his first Entancept injection tomorrow second next week, we will keep you updated to how it all goes!🤞

    Hi, all little update from team Curwood.

    Flights booked, treatment booked accommodation booked!

    The excitement of leaving at the end of next month is keeping me awake, but if you know me that’s normal(over-thinker).😜

    We will be away for almost 3 weeks with having to stop half way on the way there and home, Brett can’t flight for long periods due to his disposition to blood clotting.

    2 weeks of treatment and follow ups in Florida.

    We are praying this will give Brett back the functionality to work part time again and get him out and about more.

    You see 8 years of not having the freedom to live our lives like everyone else has had it’s dark days, we are looking forward to a positive future and outcome from this.

    Living in your mid thirties to mid forties in a stand still has taken its toll and we are excited about the prospect of our family being a little for whole again.

    For any of you that wish to still donate, we are now working on food and day to day bits.

    Hello all.

    We are starting to get excited about the future for the first time in a while, we realise this wouldn't be possible without all your help.

    Our we have managed to book flights and accommodations now and in the next few weeks will be paying for treatments with cost around $26000.

    Wow, just wow.

    We certainly didn’t think when embarking on this journey it would be so fast at target.

    Thank you all so much who have donated.

    The fact that it’s still going will be the difference in us being 20 minutes away from our destination to being very close by.

    Thank you again your kindness has us so grateful for so many wonderful people in our lives.

    Brett and I would just like to take the time so say how blown away we are by the generosity of our friends.

    We cannot believe how kind people are and how much you all want to see this succeed as much as we do.

    We have had 7 years of Triumphs over adversity and we are praying this will undo some of the damage that the strokes have left.

    Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you are doing for our family.
