Auckland

The KiwiToKiwi website enables everyday Kiwis to receive and offer peer to peer services.

The KiwiToKiwi goal is not to maximize profit, but rather to incorporate aspects into the platform which are beneficial to it's members.

Stage 1) Build Prototype website ($7000)

Stage 2) Build master website ($93,000)

Peer to peer service facilitators have been growing all over the world. However, New Zealand is yet to have its own Kiwi version which encourages use of the platform in a way that is beneficial to all members.

How the KiwiToKiwi website works (brief):

Members upload an ad describing the service they require (babysitting, tutoring, handyman work etc), and the price they are prepared to pay. Other members then show their interest in completing the service, by accepting the ad. The first member then chooses who they would like to complete their job, based off members reviews.

The selected member then completes the service, and payment is made in NZD to the first members KiwiToKiwi account. Funds can be transferred from a members KiwiToKiwi account to their personal bank account at a cost of X%. This cost covers insurance, tax, and running costs. Alternatively, members may use received funds in their KiwiToKiwi account, to pay for additional services on the platform. This lowers costs to the member, and encourages the platform to be used on an ongoing basis.

The technical nature of the website has pushed the cost up, hence KiwiToKiwi is seeking investment to help get the platform up and running. We are currently in discussions with top New Zealand website builders to achieve this at the lowest cost, without compromising quality.

Please help KiwiToKiwi become the market leader for New Zealand peer to peer services by donating now. If you are unable to contribute financially, please register your interest on the temporary KiwiToKiwi website and like us on facebook (Links on the right).
