Help Furnish New Zealand's First AI Safety Coworking Space!

AI Safety New Zealand is on a mission to build a thriving community and support businesses dedicated to making sure AI goes well for humanity, rather than just for profit. Right now, there are passionate individuals across the country eager to transition into the AI safety space, but often, their only option is to move overseas. Local engagement and working on these critical global challenges is becoming increasingly difficult, especially in the current financial climate.

To change this, AI Safety New Zealand is launching an AI Safety co-working space for the next year! This hub will serve as a home for researchers, nonprofits, and businesses working to ensure AI is developed safely and responsibly. By keeping talent here in New Zealand and providing a collaborative, in-person environment, we can grow our local ecosystem and foster meaningful innovation.

We have already raised funds and secured the rental agreement for the centre, but we need your help to turn this empty space into a welcoming, productive home base.
