Help Gayle beat cervical cancer and enjoy a normal life with her hubby Warren and two boys

Our amazing friend Gayle is facing one of the biggest challenges of her life. In June 2025, after a routine cervical screening, she was diagnosed with cervical cancer. What started as a regular check-up has turned into a journey no one ever expects to face.

Her treatment plan is intense: 6 weeks of chemo, followed by 5 weeks of combined chemo & radiation in Auckland. This means long stretches of time away from her family, which will be one of the hardest parts.

Alongside the emotional & physical toll, there are huge financial pressures. Her husband Warren is self-employed, which makes this time especially tough. This page has been set up to help ease the burden – covering everyday costs, plus extra costs such as travel costs, & some holistic treatments that will help strengthen her immune system & body through this journey.

Gayle is a P.E & health teacher who has always dedicated herself to looking after others. Now it’s our turn to rally around her & her family, to make sure they feel supported every step of the way.
