Wayne has been racing for many years but after an awful accident on 1st November 2025 at Masterton Motorplex his beautiful car hit the wall hard. He has not only lost his car but hurt himself as well. Luckily with all the safety gear he has survived. I was asked by some Super Sedan racers to start a page as we want to help get him back on his feet once his health is improved and hopefully back to racing. Super Sedan is a big group, with alot of fellow racers all supporting each other at the track.

Hi everyone. Just want to let you know I am all good. Feel like I'm 110 yrs old but I can't complain. I am very grateful that the car didn't go over. I want to say a big thanks to the crash crew, ambulance team, all the poor bastards that had to clean up my mess, my own little crew and anyone else who was down the end helping (not Jo Gregory though she got a pick of me high as a kite). I do want to mention that I learnt a valuable lesson on that day. A car that runs fast and on slicks would have come out a lot better off with an engine diaper. I never really thought much about it and as it wasn't in the rule book for my setup gave it no thought really. I am somehow going to return to the track, and it will be with my ol val. But it will not be running down the track without a diaper. Thanks to everyone's nice comments and the visitors i have had over the past few days and a big thanks to my wife Carolyn and my family for all their support and help. Dodgy Devil Out
