Help get Evie to Australia

At the beginning of the year my coach ( Michael Gillum) and I set myself a goal of qualifying for the Down Under Crossfit Championship held in Wollongong Australia. This was a very big ambition considering 2019 is my first year competing in the open women’s division as I’m only 17 years old.

To qualify I had to place very high in New Zealand from the Crossfit Games Open and then hope I would receive an invite to compete at the Down Under Championship mid may of 2019. Much to my surprise I have placed high enough to get the opportunity to represent New Zealand next month

Qualifying has not come easy. It has taken years of long training days and hard work but I’m absolutely stoked to have made it this far

I study at the University of Waikato. Being a student it can be hard to cover all the costs for this trip. Any little bit of money would be very highly appreciated and will all go towards flights, accommodation and registration
