I'm James, a young actor, performer and theatre enthusiast from Friendly Feilding in the Manawatu! I recently auditioned to be part of the International All-Stars performance troupe and am excited to share that I was successful to be selected as one of few to represent New Zealand!

The International All-Stars are an elite performance group consisting of students from all over the world, chosen to travel to the USA in January 2027 for a once in a lifetime training and performance tour. As part of this unique opportunity I will get to work with and learn from Broadway theatre industry professionals in New York City, then travel to and perform at Junior Theatre International Festival Atlanta, the worlds largest youth musical theatre festival with over 7000 attendees celebrating musical theatre.

Organised by Travel Gang in collaboration with Music Theatre International (Australia) this is an amazing opportunity to perform internationally and I am fundraising to cover my individual costs for this trip which will offer amazing exposure to theatre practices, masterclasses and training from Broadway professionals, and provide invaluable experiences in the heart of the performing arts world.

Use of funds

Participating at this festival involves substantial costs over $8000 (excluding flights) per person. Money raised will go towards theatre training and workshops in NYC, Junior Theatre Festival Admission fees, accommodation and admission to visited venues.

On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
