two more weeks to get cast off and see what happens there , finger crossed it will be ok the vet in chch was mentioned again.. the vets been talking him bout things
great advice on what to do with a dog in a cast would be good. Shadows been quite down in the dumps.. which is to be expected. i hide treats around the house for him .. he enjoys that . hes tryign to lick round his cast.. which is hard.. he been trying to put creamoni t and cotton wool over it or socks. in two weeks he will get another xray and we will update on whats going on .. the vet has merged with another vet and so we go to different vet.. its sad there are no actual surgeons in dunedin atm. will get more pictures up soon .
Been taking Shadow to vet each week. this week we had to get some cream, as the edge of the cast has been rubbing over his leg. as well as two panadol a day. its been hard work for Shadow.. who is another allowed to run around and do much. hes a lovely big softy.. even been teaching the cat.. to sit at the door with his paw in the air as well as walking thru the hall way on three legs. we are hoping to catch the cat in the act and get a photo soon. He knows the dog isnt happy chappy. i know both if the dog gets the pins or stays in casts there are ups and down for both choices.
Crap night.. poor thing was crying.. off to vet today.. have some wee issues.
